Why can't I smell my reed diffuser fragrance anymore?
There are a number of reasons why you might not be able to smell your diffuser. It could be as simple as going noseblind to your chosen scent, the essential oils running out, or saturated reeds.
3 easy fixes to make your reed diffuser smell stronger
Flip the reeds regularly
It might make your reed diffuser run out quicker, but flipping the reeds regularly encourages the fragrance to be released, therefore making it smell stronger. We recommend flipping the reeds weekly to make the most of the scent.
Change the scent
Not being able to smell your diffuser could be as simple as you being noseblind. After a while you can get used to the same scent over and over again, and you may stop smelling it. But, there’s an easy fix for this. Simply use a different scent next time you purchase a diffuser, and see if it makes a difference.
Replace the reeds
If you still have a lot of oil left and you flip the reeds regularly but can’t smell it, the reeds may have become too saturated or clogged with dust. In this situation, simply replace the reeds and continue using it as normal.
